\"Metaloyd\" is a one person project for the moment. Sergii Pylypenko, songwriter, composer, lyricist, singer, decided to create a project in 2011, when he immigrated to Canada from Ukraine. Sergii always had a passion to create music. That started when he was a school boy, in the age around 15 he began to write poems. His schoolmate showed him couple of chords on a guitar and Sergii began to explore this instrument and convert his poems into songs. In 2001, Sergii finished music school where he studied accordion class. In 2008 Sergii graduated from the University where he got a profession of a school teacher. While in University, Sergii always took part in any kind of concerts, parties improving his vocal skills. That was part of his study life. For all this years he collected a solid bunch of songs and poems, which he wanted to get to people, but he had no idea how to do it. After he immigrated to Canada, he started to act. With a help of different computer programms he managed to record songs, but the quality of recordings was too bad to bring them to public. Sergii had to find a professional sound engineer. He sent his demos to many recording studios and only one of them replied. The album \"Lifemarks\" was recorded in EDIT PRODUCTIONS INC. studio in Toronto, by Jim Philogene. The work on \"Lifemarks\" took about 2 years, as Sergii had to work hard as a mover, to pay for studio, and create music at the same time. Finally on January 7, 2015 the album was recorded. And that\'s only the beginning! The style of Sergii\'s music is a mix of rock, instrumental, a little bit of lounge. He uses often symphonic instruments to create interesting sound. It\'s better to listen to it than to read about it. This music is definitely worth of listening!-\"That\'s all about passion to what you do and what your goals are. If you realy want something, you\'ll get it!\" - Sergii Pylypenko.
